Track raced very even. No disgrace being beaten by PINNACLE PRINCE. He is a very nice horse. SHANAYA good behind, but the big follow is TORO TORO at 1200m. He’s desperate for it! He was the only horse to break 12 seconds for their L200m outside of the smart winner.

 

They went a good clip up front here and that was the difference, with race fitness on the side of BOWERY BREEZE and she was strong after a perfect run in transit. That fast lead speed found out ZING who was only 2nd up, but good luck beating her in this grade 3rd up, will be primed!

 

LA GRISA was off the map $12 into $4.80 favourite, but couldn’t get into the race. Wouldn’t have won, but held up crucial time and hit the line well. Following 2000m+. Lovely return from SACRAMENTO and he stays all day. 2400m for him.

 

KISS THE BRIDE has started long odds at his two runs in this prep but he’s a much better horse than that SP suggests. This was a very good run staying at the mile and he’s ready 3rd up 1800/2000m.

 

Got PRIMITIVO wrong and he didn’t go a yard early. He’s now primed for the 2400m at the Magic Millions and I will be buttering up. 

 

Visually brilliant win from ALL TIME LEGEND but backed up on the clock. Good horse and follow.

 

He started too short TRAVEST but he’s the one to follow. Covered ground, shuffled back, going 1100m-1400m 2nd up but lengthened beautifully before peaking late. That brings him on.

 

Solid tempo up top set it up for a nice swoopers win for DUNBRODY POWER. MADAM LEGEND travelled beautifully, but sat up top of a good tempo first up and found out late. Stuck on well. Good Mare and wins plenty of races. STARLA wants 1400m!
