Racing: A Sunny Coast Special
1 year agoThere's a stack of Group racing for punters to sink their teeth into in Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday, and Blair Gibson from *THERACECLUB.com.au * reckons we can build a bank today.
Gibson, who has been on fire of late, believes ENTERPRISE JACK (No.4) will break through for his first win in Race 4 at the Sunshine Coast – a 1400-metre maiden for three-year-olds.
"After being gelded, he trialled well ahead of his first-up run, then was beaten by a handy one (Love Struck) when resuming," Gibson said.
"The run was excellent and the 1400 metres on a bigger track here should be ideal.
"I would have preferred a bit more speed in the race, but if he gets a good steer, I expect him to be winning."
Alannah Fancourt has the ride off the inside gate, with post-time set down for 6:34pm AEDST.
The Michael Lakey-trained gelding is likely to start at $2.70 or thereabouts.
