Race 1 – Didn't mind the run of LADY OF LUXURY here. Like half the runners in this was first up off a decent break. Coming underneath horses and from the inside didn't seem the play of the day so good run.

Race 2 – Dawdle fest on paper and turned out that way. Wary of this form going forward but WILLO TITTO ran well here only 2nd up. Can go close placed right next start.

Race 3 – Nothing to learn from this but I'd be totally forgiving of BALLISTIC BOY as it was a train wreck from start to finish. Killed by the barrier and the ensuing ride.

Race 4 – Sustained speed here by JONKER who is loving life in QLD. Trialled superbly before this and brought that here. Wide gates really suit this bloke as he can do it from both ends. POETIC CHARMER who I didn't mind at big odds here worked home well. He could be looking for some sting out of the track.

Race 5 – Huge win by KRONE in an undesirable section of the track. She wasn't hard fence but no horse was able to do what she did in that lane all day. SOFIE'S GOLD CLASS continues to run well against these good mares and was in the worst part of the track here. Looking forward to her taking a step back in grade.

Race 6 – ALPINE EDGE a bit stiff here. A touch slow into stride and didn't really travel all race to run a fast finishing 2nd. He is going to be a very good horse in the next season or so. Waller proved once again how bloody good he is. SHAQUERO really appreciated the back up which makes sense for a horse who has such a hard going nature. This was a totally different horse in behind to the one that pulled its head off in the BJ McLachlan.

Race 7 – She wasn't in the A Grade lane approaching the turn but AWAY GAME was a little plain I thought initially however they ran fast time here so she probably wasn't entitled to win the race. AIM monstered this lot and ran superb time compared to the older horses in the race after.

Race 8 – The market was bang on here with the top 4 in betting running the First Four. Slack time compared to the younger horses.

Race 9 – Some competitive riding by Craig Williams vs. Nash here cooked the chances of the well supported CHAPTER AND VERSE unfortunately. Slack race this overall going forward.
