Race 1 – SNOW VALLEY dominated from the front here in a pretty ordinary race overall on paper opposition wise. GENZAI THE WOLF ran his usual good race fresh after being slow after. Strong late and through the line. He can pick up something soon in similar grade.

Race 2 – All honours to the winner here. MACEWEN gave them a start and buried them.

Race 3 – NORTH AFRIKA did something different here and surprisingly took a sit and quickened at the top of the straight. In the zone at the moment he is for Smerdon. INDIAN DREAMER went huge from the back which is pretty normal for him after being slow away. 

Race 4 – You would have felt sick in the guts watching this if you had backed the favourite RANCH HAND. Not a great ride but also a victim of circumstance with the tempo not great in this. In saying that the winner QUEEN OF WIZARDRY didn't have the clearest path early in the straight and hammered when clear. Looks to have a motor.

Race 5 – Nice horse this SMART 'N' SEXY. She didn't beat a whole lot but the way she did was impressive for a 3YO filly taking on older horses beyond 1200m for the first time and only 2nd up this preparation. So much upside with this filly and winning this race opens up the prospect of eventually getting out to a mile.

Race 6 – BARADE done alot wrong up the straight and still won thanks to a great ride by Byrne. GREY LION is busting to win another one up here and had to change course at a vital stage which halted his momentum.

Race 7 – APACHE CHASE appreciated getting upto the 1400m on the big track. He never really looked in danger defying his odds against some very good up and coming horses. 

Race 8 – 2 huge wins in a row by SOXAGON sustaining a long run from the 600m looping the field. TYZONE was great here from the back 2nd up. Difficult to place but he looks on track.

Race 9 – Not a great deal to learn out of this. ATHIRI continued her winning form being punched home by Nash.
