Dave Strehlau reviews the racing from Randwick and identifies horses to follow
Race 3 Tab Highway Hcp 1100m
STREET POWER was sensational here, trapped 3/4 WNC and kept coming! Back to 1200m can follow. Both CASINO KID and CASINO LORD hit the line hard first up at 1100m, which is short of their best. Both can be followed.

Race 4 Bisley Workwear Reginald Allen 1400m
DECENT RAINE was held up for too long and margin unfair. Outside draw and weight relief can win. FANGIRL copped a beaut steer, but was impressive. Looks a miler. ROOTS also ripped home and out in trip will suit. She was unlucky. Home in RF L4/200m.

Race 5 The Kosciuszko 1200m
Outstanding edition and the finish made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. How good is it having crowds back! ART CADEAU is an absolute weapon and a line chaser. He's done this first up, no easy feat! Can be followed. Even a Villiers if he can stretch his brilliance to 1600m. EDIT was exceptional for too for back and staying at 1200m was against. Wants every bit of 1400m. AHEADOFHISTIME was exceptional at triple figure odds. Held up, zigged and zagged, then ran the RF L200m.

Race 6 Moet And Chandon Sydney Stks 1200m
BIG PARADE got well deserved black type. Loved what I saw from WHEELHOUSE. Unsuited at 1200m and poorly in at WFA, but found the line well. When he gets to the mile he can be followed.

Race 7 The Tab Everest 1200m
Great race and boy they went hard in those middle stages. NATURE STRIP was there to be beaten and he got there in time. From my perspective, I can't fall into the "Masked Crusader steps he wins" narrative. If he's ridden a shade closer, does he posses the same powerful finish? Don't get me wrong, he has run home in 33.82, some 6L faster than the winner, but the winner also went hard and kept going. These two should line up in the Darley Sprint at Flemington in a few weeks time, and expect MASKED CRUSADER to be over bet due to the flashing light factor. NATURE STRIP loves the straight, can cruise and then burst home. CLASSIQUE LEGEND was huge. A full prep next year and look out.

Race 10 Heineken 3 1400m
Got PROMISE OF SUCCESS wrong from a result perspective. She drifted like the wind in betting, but the performance was excellent. Home in clear RF L6/4/200m, she's can measure up down in Melbourne at 14/1600m now. GOLLY I'M LUCKY bursting to win one.
