Race 2 Midway 1400m
DIFFERENT STROKES had just about the best run in transit you can possibly get in thoroughbred racing. Nice type, entitled to win. DIVINE BREATH was excellent. Fresh return was a beauty and if she got a FOUR PILLARS slot and the track was wet, she could win.

Race 3 Cerrone 2000m
A silly fast tempo was set up top and I will be forgiving of HERMAN HESSE with a jockey change.
Race 5 Polytrack Roman Consul Stks 1200m
PAULELE had the run and won well enough. Not surprised they bypass the Everest. GLENEGALES was excellent and 1400m next start follow. OVERPASS home in RF L6/4/200m, good run from too far back.

Race 6 Bentley Angst Stks 1600m
MIRRA VISION won with a bit in hand and not only did she tick the mile box, it was a strong mile. Gives them plenty of options going forward, can win a big one. KIKU held up key stage and need momentum; inside gates against her moving forward. GRACE AND HARMONY primed for 2000m now. MORE PROHPETS without some luck, but highly doubt she beats the winner.

Race 7 Silver Eagle 1300m
COUNT DE RUPEE wins with his head on his chest without severe interference. Outstanding effort to pick up and come again. Was trucking! HIGH SUPREMACY the one to follow to 1600m now for me. Out of the lot of them back in trip, he was the most unsuited. Managed to dodge the incident, but his work through the line was tremendous. Condolences to the connections of TRIPLE ACE. A tragic outcome.

PROFONDO is just about the best looking horse you'll ever see and he's spaced a G1 field at start 3, albeit a weak one. He could be anything come the Autumn. What a weapon! HEAD OF STATE pulled up with cardiac arrhythmia for the 2nd time in his short career.
