Houtzen leaves Edmonds stable ahead of swansong
8 months agoHoutzen is likely to have one start before retirement, but it won't be for Toby Edmonds.
The four-year-old I Am Invincible mare, which last week ran eighth in the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, will be transferred to English trainer Martyn Meade.
Houtzen will almost certainly bid farewell to racing in the G2 King George Stakes (1000m) at Goodwood on August 2, before a date with Lope De Vega in the breeding barn.
We have decided to transfer Houtzen to Martin Meade for her final run before being served by Loup De Vega good luck with her she has been great for our stable and clients @AquisFarm @EdmondsRacing @TrentEd1 https://t.co/oeVLWN6olo
