Tough day at the Heath but I think there are a few we can follow further into the spring.

Race 1 Mrc 1St Renewal M Grumley Hcp 1600m

THOUGHT OF THAT was unable to muster early to find the lead, it was all over for him there and he was disappointing. JIMMY THE BEAR sat outside the leader and just keep getting the job done. CHIEF ALTONY ran on well against the tempo of the race, again he's a backmarker which is making it tough for him to win.

Race 3 Fierce Impact Breed Elite-Bm90 1100m

SHE'S ALL CLASS was slow out, but also didn't go a yard and was disappointing. LITTLE STEVIE got a nice result for her new ownership group and got her head down at the right time. HELLFEST settled further back than expected and her effort was good.

Race 4 Ive > (Bm78) 1200m

There was good speed in this however hard not to be impressed by the win of I AM BENE, she was slow away but more than dynamic late to record an impressive win. I expect she can go on with it and try her luck in something harder next start.

Race 5 Stow Storage Sols. Vain Stakes 1100m

ALPHA ONE led them and Frosty was swinging on the bend, however GIGA KICK was very professional, pinned the ears back and mowed him down like only a good horse can. MILLANE ran on well and may be better suited to the 1200m. In a month's time I expect there are several challengers to this lot emerge, so while I was impressed with GK I'm not getting carried away.

Race 6 Neds Quezette Stakes 1100m

BOUND FOR HOME was slowly away but can with a string run to get the result and went better than i thought she was capable. OJAI drew awkwardly and was snicked, held up for clear running her effort was very good. WALTZ ON BY was a total forgive run given she got halted in her tracks at a key stage. I'MLOVIN'YA got shuffled back at a key stage and was left with too much to do, she too ran well.

Race 7 Evergreen Turf Regal Roller 1200m

UNCOMMON JAMES was smashed in betting and that was completely justified as he smashed the clock. He has a positive racing style and can cut his way through some of the handicaps here in the spring. I liked the return of SINAWANN and I think he's on track for races over a little further than what he encountered here.

Race 8 P.B. Lawrence Stakes 1400m

BUFFALO RIVER gave plenty of cheek from the front and if it's wet spring he can improve on this effort. MR BRIGHTSIDE took the big step up to this grade, he had a nice run but was strong holding off a game I AM SUPERMAN. REGAL POWER was excellent given he will be much better suited to further. ELEPHANT was also very good after being restrained early. Look for him out in trip and from a draw where he can settle closer.

Race 9 Millennium Services Group-Bm84 1400m

MILITARY EXPERT sat close to the speed and showed great tenacity to keep EL ROCKO at bay who ran extremely well. PASCERO clearly the unlucky runner of the race and with any luck would've won this race and he can be followed.
