Finals day at HQ and we saw emerging winter gallopers stake their claims for something richer in the spring.

Race 1 Tcl Leilani Series Final 1400m

MEGAMEA bungled the start here and the way the race was going to be run, and eventually was run, she was in a world of pain. She even raced a little keenly however came with a barnstorming finish to get over the top of them late. ZOUSONIC was also good from the back but given the race shape was given none.

Race 4 Kennedy Taj Rossi Series Final 1600m

QUANG TRI sat wide and was simply too good for them. I didn't mind HOOPS at the price, she dropped right out and had cardiac arrhythmia. That's an auto forgive for me however it doesn't help the account balance.

Race 7 Furphy Santa Ana Lane Final 1200m

They ran this too hard in the outside division and that told late. SARTORIAL SPLENDOR went better than I thought he could at this trip. Ethan Brown got it right on SIRIUS SUPECT, he is riding with some real confidence.

Race 8 Penfolds Vrc-Crv Winter C'ship 1600m

TUVALU was able to sustain a high cruising speed and get the job done yet again. He's got better races than this in him as does SIR DAVY who chased gamely, he too is very smart. LUNAR FLARE the one to follow from the race, she ran on very strongly and was briefly held up in doing so. While the other two likely have a break suspect she may push on.

Race 9 Tab Silver Bowl Series Final 1600m

Some nice 3YOs here, not much between ARRAN BAY and CARDINAL GEM yet again, just a better ride on ARRAN BAY as opposed to the start prior. IDON'TGETIT ran on well and proved in time he can measure up to some nice races.
