Steeples O'callaghan is back for the 'Bool

We are in for another cracking jumping carnival at the bool this year!
Race 1
Intersting race to start us off.
1, Beachgoer
Ran on very well in its last hit out on the flat than wasn’t asked to do much in its hurdle trial last week, obviously a big threat but not 100% its jumping technique will hold up when the pressure is on
2, Buffalo Bill
Very poor last start over the sticks at Pakenham, couldn’t back it in this
3, Elope To Vegas
1st time overs jumps, trials have been not bad, hard to get really get a gauge.
4, Lord Pierro
Fair run on the flat last start before winning its jumping trial last week, with astute trainer, winning chance
5, Periscope
Ok run last start then fair trial but it has had 1 win from 31 starts, not for me
6, Portland Jimmy
Best performed on the flat making debut over hurdles, unlike most Payne horses has been winning the trials and is ready to go here , logical winner.
7, Rocky Raccoon

8, The Beehive
Led and gave a good sight last time, likely to go forward again here and be in it a long way.
9, Yulong Place
Looks outclassed and couldn’t back it with Doff’s money.
10, Zouy’s Comet
Likely leader here and gave a good sight, not without a chance
11, Flying Pierro.
If the pressure is really on in this race he could be running on late , knockout hope.
12, Road To Blue Sky
Trialled ok last week and an improved performance would not surprize at big odds

Portland Jimmy looks the logical winner here but just a gentle start to the week betting wise. 2 units win Number 6
Zouy’s Coment the likely leader and Flying Pierro a possible late closer at big odds .25 units win numbers 10 & 11

Happy to take the fav on at the price.
1, Beefeater impressed in recent jumps trial happy to play him here 1 Unit win
4, Jeune Elvis 1st time over jumps but worth a spec after a nice trial .25 Units Win
Race 3
The fav looks extremely hard to beat but at the price will take it on.

6, Rider in the Snow. 1 unit
9, Onset .25 Units
10 Shilijt .25 units
Race 6
Great race and will be a perfect lead up for the main event on Thursday.
1, Bit of a Lad
An old fav but just don’t think he is going as well as he was, trainers can performance remarkable feats but I am against him today.
2, Police Camp
More suited on Thursday in the Grand Annual, think these will be too sharp for him
3, Britannicus
Big chance and will likely look the winner at some stage
4, Valac
Likely leader and will be hard to run down, travels beautifully in its races but can it hold off the challenges late?
5, Vanguard
An emerging star on the jumping scene, was surprized Valac opened up significantly shorter, believe this bloke deserves to be fav. Creating a great record over the sticks and should be powering home late.
6, Magnanimous Man
Has trialled well and would expect and a competitive performance today
7, My King’s Counsel
Can’t win
