The forecast wind never reached its top and I thought the track raced evenly throughout.

Race 2 Dexion Victoria (Bm84) 2000m

FIVE KINGDOM stacked them up here, and Moor was all over it on DEEPSTRIKE who missed the kick but was allowed to build momentum early to ensure he was right there and able to get the result. McNeil was held up on PALE KING who I fancied, I'm not sure whether he would have won but he was going mighty close.

Race 4 T'bred Club Redoute's Choice 1100m

They walked in this and CANNNONBALL grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and let down well for a good win. EYE OF THE EAGLE had a nice trail and went super given the tempo of this race. It hurt but he's a horse with some promise. YOWIE was three wide but was still a shade disappointing.

Race 6 Wilde Racing Hcp 1100m

SCISSOR STEP was very impressive here winning this, however WRITEY O'PAL the one I want to follow, he had to sit outside a strong tempo and did a good job to finish as close as he did. it was messy early for MAGIC MAX and his effort was also very good. MYNUMEROUNO bled and was pulled up, he's been an absolute beauty for connections and hopefully a good break will do him wonders.

Race 7 Iam Hcp 1400m

ADELE AMOUR benefited from race fitness, blinkers and cleared out on these to get back to her best. BELLA SAVOIR was well supported but off the bit early, she picked up OK late and looks in need of at least a mile off this. BLISTERING stepped up nicely from the promise she had shown in the bush. BOTANY lost momentum at a key stage and kept coming, she did have a light weight but it was a promising effort.

Race 8 Manhari Metals Plate (Bm84) 1600m

Josh Richards put on a clinic here with THINK 'N' FLY, he got total control from the front and made it very hard to run down. IT'S TORNADO STORM met him worse at the weights but kept coming against the tempo, his progression has been enormous.

Race 9 Seppelt Wines (Bm78) 1400m

PAPERBOY is just a tough unit and loves the 1400m, he's just flying for this stable. KINANE caught the eye late, the horse is a bit of a tease so not making him a horse to follow just yet until he reproduces somewhere near his exciting best. OLD FLAME was also very good and can be followed.
